METAMORPHOSIS Teen Reading Club
Registration will begin on May 12th!

Get ready to morph into some great reads this summer! Metamorphosis is the theme of this year's teen summer read for students 5th grade through age 17 . The program will run from June 12th to July 24th and will be loaded with fun and food. Teens can earn fantastic prizes according to how much they read.
June 12th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Kick-Off Party We will start off with a magic trick and then we will highlight how books can change your lives with various activities. Students will be receiving their reading packets with all the information at this time. At the end of this session we will be building our own ice cream sundaes and handing out books for July’s book discussion. July’s book to be discussed is: Tribute to Another Dead Rock Star by Randy Powell. July 10 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Session II Get your backstage passes and transform yourself into a rock star! We will be having a teen book discussion with a rock 'n roll theme. Afterwards we will play DDR and have a music CD swap. Bring in any CDs you no longer want to trade with someone else. Rock Star refreshments will be served. July 24th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Session III The third and final session will be celebrated with a pizza party, games, bugorgami and tons of fun! The program promises to be a fantastic time for everyone.

Balloon Sculpting Class for Teens

Teens - Do your friends call you an air-head? Are you the "class clown"? Do you ever feel like a balloonatic? If you answer yes to any of these questions then you are the person we are looking for!

All it takes is a twisted mind to enjoy our balloon sculpting seminar. Join us for a great time learning the basics of balloon art and leave with a few of your own creations. You're guaranteed to have a fabulous time and it's free! For 6th - 12th graders.
