A Visit With Mr. Lincoln

Bring the entire family on Tuesday, December 13 for a charming visit with Abraham Lincoln. Mr. Lincoln will give a first hand account of his life from his childhood on the frontier, through his presidency, and The Civil War. Abraham Lincoln: A New Birth of Freedom will begin at 6:00 pm in the Community Room. Refreshments will be served beginning at 5:30. No registration is required for this program.

Get ready for the holidays by making Christmas Cards on Saturday, November 19 from 10:30-11:30am. There will be a lot of materials to choose from to design your cards. This program is open to all ages. Snacks and supplies will be provided. Limit of 20 participants, 3 cards each. Please call the library to register.

Bread in a Bag

Bread in a Bag

Kids 8 years old through adults, try baking this easy bread with Karen on Saturday, November 5 from 10:30am-12pm. We’ll mix everything together in a bag, knead it, and put it in the oven to bake. Please bring a loaf pan to bake your bread in. Karen will have some fun activities to do while you wait for your bread to be done. Call 419-644-2771 to register.

Trunk or Treat

Trunk or Treat

Evergreen Community Library is hosting a Trunk or Treat on Halloween night, Monday, October 31, 2022. Please call the library at 419-644-2771 by Friday, October 28 to reserve your space. Families, businesses, organizations welcome! The library will be available at 4:30pm to set up your family friendly space (inside or outside). There will be a Grand Prize for the best space. You will need to bring your own treats to hand out. The event will be open to trick or treaters 5:30-7:30pm.
