The Teen Scene
The Teen Scene allows tweens and teens to have a comfortable place to come and hang out, read, and have fun. Our books are separated out to include reading for 6th - 8th graders and Young Adult. Our new books are on display in this area also. Fun events are routinely included, along with events such as Teen Tech Week, Summer reading Challenges, Weird Science and Teen Read Week. We also have a Wii with a variety of games available to play.
Experience Zone
The Experience Zone allows Kindergarteners through High Schoolers to come in and create, discover, experience and learn through different STEAM mediums (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math). The materials include a microscope, Squiggs, Physics, Art and Crafts, various building activities, and games. These activities are always available to children whenever they come into the library.
